April Fools

I admit, I haven't been big on April Fools this year. In fact, I forgot it was even today. But then I saw this:
FANCY UP your bathroom
... and remembered. And then Joel told me he had to go to New Zealand in a week, but I guessed.

So, I've been thinking about what we could do to celebrate, and I'm just plain too tired to think of anything except switch around the drawers in the kids' dressers, which is soooo college dorm. But it's happening, folks.

Little did I know, my April Fools was going to get a lot fool-ier, and by someone I LEAST expected... the UPS man. Yep, he fooled me good. Joel ordered some books from Amazon the other day, and I've been anxiously awaiting -- they're mostly for me! :) He got one called "Entwined" that I'm particularly excited about -- I've actually met the author! The weather has been so nice lately that I've had the windows open (HURRAY!!!), so I heard him pull right up in front of our house. And, sure enough, there was a BIG box from Amazon -- I was so excited! And then... sadly... disappointingly... he went to my neighbor's house instead. At first, I thought maybe he had something for both of us, but nope... he drove right away. I guess I'm an April Fool... :(
