Stewart's Preschool Experience

After a lot of worry on the Mom & Dad's part, Stewart FINALLY potty trained enough to be able to go to preschool -- just in time. About a week ago, I decided we'd had enough of Pull-Ups, which he treated just like diapers, and told him I knew he could do it -- he was four years old, and it was okay for him to go to the bathroom in the bathroom. Well, we've tried everything else, and I was at my wits' end, and preschool was looming in the really-near future. I guess he just needed Joel & I to stop nagging him and have a little faith that he really could do it.

So, today he started preschool! I dropped him off at 9:00, and today at 11:30 he was so proud and had so much fun! Miss Julie is the best, and we're sure excited he gets to have all these fun experiences. Here's the photo shoot before preschool:

Some of Stewart's favorite things about today were that he played with the castle (this 2' take-apart castle that you can put together in a million different ways), the play kitchen she has, and Miss Julie read a story. Don't you think he looks bigger? more grown up? mature, even?

Stewart is our wonderful, goofy little genius. Smart kids always have eccentricities. I was never really worried about him. Congrats, Stewart!
