Scotch Kisses

My family has this tradition -- Scotch kisses. I'm not sure where it originated, or why it's called Scotch kisses, but what you do is you grab someone's ear with one hand and their nose with the other and kiss the cheek in the middle.

So, today Paige did her own variation of a Scotch kiss. I wish I had a picture of this, because it made me laugh SO hard!! She came up to me, grabbed each NOSTRIL, and gave me a smack on the lips.

I'm still laughing!!!

I always knew Paige was a "nosy" little kid. Hilarious!

Thanks for the warning! I'll know to duck when I see her coming at my nose; what a hoot!

Hee hee! Great image, anyways! I'll have to ask Paige for one of those next time I see her... :)

While we were at the Gentiles this weekend, Chris was holding Mia when she screamed, lunged toward him, bit him hard on the nose, then grabbed his nose in her fist and wrenched. THAT'S love!

Paige sure loves to grab faces. Usually it's a short split-second before her hands grab at my glasses, but that's the way it's been with all our children.

Paige: "nose!" *grabs nose*
Joel: "No glasses..."
Paige "Glasses" *Manages to dodge Dad's hand and grabs glasses, smearing peanut butter across them*
