These are actual prayers heard around our house:
Paige: "Heathy Fathow, we gwafee (grateful) fow this day. Pease hep it make us stwong and heawthy. Name o Jesus Chwist, amen."
Every prayer. At mealtimes she adds that we're "gwafee fow the food."
-------------------------
Stewart: "... Thank thee fow that the weathow is nice and that I can play the Backyawdigans game ..." Sometimes he's also grateful for playing with Parker and Paige and Kimball (he's GREAT at playing with Kimball!).
-------------------------
Every night, I make the kids say something that happened to them that day, either a highlight or something they did. Parker's favorite for the day?
"... and thank thee that Mama told me the story of when I had a lot of poop, and it came out of her hand..." (by the way, he was three months old when this happened!)
Yeah, that was the best thing that happened, I guess.
But the other day he prayed that he was "glad that Kimball came to our family." Twice!

Gotta love the prayers of the little ones to keep us all grounded! Thanks for sharing.
Little kids' prayers are so fun and innocent. I wish I could do it like that again sometimes.
And although they are mispronounced, those little prayers are heartfelt. Pretty funny, too!
LOVE prayers of little ones... and we're also grateful for little Kimball coming to the family!
