Parker's Testimony

Today Kimball was being really fussy, so I took him to the back -- unsurprisingly, as soon as I stood up he calmed down. (Does anyone out there have a tip about how to sit nicely with your 7-month-old?) So, I was behind this little outcrop by the chapel doors, where the speakers can't see, so they wouldn't get distracted by us. The second speaker started, and... OH, MY GOODNESS, I KNOW THAT VOICE! It was Parker! He bore his testimony today, in front of everyone, and didn't even get nervous! He wanted to share it with everyone. He said:

I bear my testimony that I know this church is true. I'm thankful for the church and for my family. I'm thankful for the ward. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

It was really great! Natalie didn't mention that Parker paused in the middle for an agonizing 20 seconds, but he didn't act nervous, just like he was thinking :)

Natalie, I just had to make sure to thank you for the beautiful updated "greatest blessings" collection--adding the two new additions. You're terrific! Love you!
