Christmas Magic

Last night, I spent FOUR HOURS shopping around town. Ridiculous, I know, but it's the first time I've been able to look around without KIDS. And, unfortunately, I think I discovered some things... 1. I have really good ideas for Christmas presents. They just don't always work out. And sometimes they're kind of late ideas. 2. I have really good ideas for ways to save money on Christmas presents. They just don't always work out. And sometimes the idea comes too late to really do anything about saving money. Example? Here's my list of things to do BEFORE Christmas Eve: - make & send Christmas cards (I'm actually about 1/3 - 1/2 done with this one) - make stockings - make a movie - finish Stewart's gift - finish Joel's gifts - paint and decorate the gift for the kids - find Christmas outfits - find and/or make presents for Rachel & Marcie (but the idea is AWESOME!) - make Mom S's present - bug Joel to find a present for Dad S - finish grandchildren present - neighbor treats - finish Kimball's gift - make Christmas ornaments with kids I'm still optimistic, but HOLY COW that's a lot of stuff to do! Luckily, I have about 60 hours of television saved on my DVR right now, so I can totally watch TV while I work. :)

That's a lot to do, but I'm sure you'll get it all done. (Just get my present done first :))

If you can still crawl across the floor to the mint M&Ms then you have the strength to go on! I hope you get some of that stuff done. It all looks like such fun.

It made me tired just reading the list! Good luck!
