Kickball
Well, this was our first attempt at organized sports, and it couldn't have worked out better! We signed Parker up for kickball feeling it was kind of lame he couldn't be in t-ball, but kickball turned out to be so much fun we feel like we really got our money's-worth. It taught him the rudimentary "skills" (we're using that term loosely here) of baseball, without all the pressure of competition -- every inning, each kid got to kick the ball and run the bases, and if you got out you still got to run as though you weren't really out. And the last person to kick got to bring everyone home!

Great shots. I remember when Joel and Kevin played T-ball, how fun it was to watch them use their "skills." Great fun! Great laughs!
He looks so adorable in that uniform! My nephew is growing up! (sniff)
Hooray for kickball! Go Parker! I miss kickball... maybe I should join the league. :-D
Wow, those are such cute pictures! I wish we could have made one of his games. Too bad the season is over and all that!
Who needs professional entertainment when you've got kids in "organized" sports? Those T-ball games were hilarious, not to mention Melissa's flag football (with all the boys!) What a hoot!
It was fun to watch! So cute watching them flounder around with bursts of "Oh yeah, I run!" thrown in. :D And a metal to boot. Could life get any better? I submit that it cannot!
