Stewart is funny

Since Sunday, Stewart has been on fire. I can't believe how funny this guy is!

Today, we went shoe shopping, because every single one of my kids has grown out of their shoes. He found some shoes he REALLY liked, but then he tried them on and they didn't fit. I told him, "Stewart, whoops, your shoes are on backwards. Try switching them and see if that works better." Stewart did and came up to me and said, "Mama, they fit PERFECT. They are super-hero shoes!" We decided he needed some super-hero shoes for school.

On Saturday he and Uncle Nick (Gentile) were playing a game -- guess the number. So, Uncle Nick would say, "I'm thinking of a number between 5 and 7." Stewart would think for a minute, then, say "SIX!" and Uncle Nick would say, "Good job!" We had Sunday dinner over at Mom and Dad Smith's house, and Nick thought it would be fun to play again, so he said, "Stewart, what's a number between 29 and 31?" Without missing a beat, Stewart said, "I'm EATing!" Sorry, Uncle Nick, guess that game's over.

But the funniest thing happened Sunday morning. Stewart is generally the last one out of bed in the morning, on any given morning -- I think he's a night owl, because he's the only one of my kids who sleeps in. Good luck with teenager Stewart, right? Anyway, Paige was the first one to see him when he came out of his room, so she said, "Hi, Stewart!" As if Paige was totally insulting him, Stewart said, "Call me by my REAL name, Jedi Knight."

Stewart is so funny lately! He's really working on that personality of his, and it's wonderful to see.

That kid is hilarious! I love the Jedi Knight comment! I've been telling the "I'm eating!" story to my co-workers.

I loved the comment Stewart made to poor Uncle Nick on Sunday! He is so hilarious! Maybe I should start calling him Jedi Knight so he won't be insulted. :)

That comment at dinner cracked all of us up. And don't tell Stewart, but he looks more like Yoda right now. (And no snide comments about me and Jabba the Hutt.)
