We travelled up on Wednesday, the 29th, and the kids did great. Of course, it took us 9 hours to get there (including a one-hour stop at Wal-mart to get new light bulbs for the trailer [oops] and a long stop in Blackfoot to see Grandma Katie & Grandpa Al), but everyone was cheerful and we were SO glad to get there.
This was the first year we got to use our tent trailer for the Reunion. It was so great! Thank you, Aunt Brenda and Uncle Mike!
What is a Reunion without a hobo hike? The kids had a fun pirate-themed hike this year (those Andersons have started to outdo themselves!), and it was Paige's first year. So much fun!

After the hobo hike, there were boat races. The kids had some pretty amazing creations, but Parker almost didn't get to race his boat, because he had some trouble finding it. Of course, it was right underneath the front of the trailer, where I'd told him to put it... Parker was so, so excited to get a better placement this year (he was almost last place last time), but he got on the slow side of the crick and was dead last this time.
This was the first year the kids really got to run off and play, and while it gave me heart failure to let them just GO, it really was a ton of fun for them! Parker and Stewart really played the most with the Carter boys, Jonathon and Mitchell, who are 17 and 15! There was Star Wars, and Harry Potter, and battles galore -- those kids just played and played.
Paige stayed pretty close to camp, and helped me out a lot of the time. (Thanks, Kim, for the cute pictures!)

Kimball's first reunion was pretty fun. He loves a good bath -- even if there's a breeze blowing on him!
In the end, we were all pretty tired, and glad to get home...
... but not really looking forward to cleaning up the HUGE mess we made!

Holy frijoles! That looks like a bigger production than a scout camporee! Great stuff for a young family to do together. Thanks for the great pics.
Thanks for the awesome pictures! It was really fun spending some time up there with the lil' ones. And it was nice of Paige to share Bear with Kimball!
Thanks for the travelpics! It was about time you had things go right--and I love the side pictures of everyone.
Nat, you are so totally fake sleeping! Does Kimball have a bug on his shoulder in the bath? Eww. Those are really cute pictures of everyone. Thanks for playing with me. I love you, and am really, really missing you.
Are you and Paige twins?
Hee hee -- Paige is my clone, and Kimball has a bug on him in the bath (ironic?).
It was awesome to see you all, and you're totally fake sleeping there, aren't you Natalie!
