Semantics

I'm told I have a funny way of baby talk. I just seem to add an "s" to the end of every word. (My mom said once that she's worried that my kids won't learn the difference between singular and plural.) So, when Paige started wearing elastics and barrettes, I just called them all "pretties". The other day, I asked Paige, "Are you ready to do your hair?" "Yes, Mama. I want ONE." "You want one pretties?" Paige said, "Mama. It is 'pretty'." Yeah, I don't think Mom needs to worry any more.

LOL, don't you love it when little ones correct you?

The only thing worse than a parent correcting your grammar is to have your child do it, huh? How funny!
