At first, I thought... HUH? But then I started reading (click on it to make it larger, if you need to) the description of who he is, and I thought that, although I'm no Harriet Smith, Joel is definitely like Mr. Martin in a lot of very good ways. A faithful friend, good-natured, hard working (especially lately!), devoted to his family... and who can hate the very end? I love you, mister -- come home safe & soon! :X

Why am I still up?
Okay, here's why... Deborah and I got together tonight to watch the new BBC Emma -- it's so, so great! It has the girl from Amazing Grace, and the guy was in another Jane Austen show (the one with Fanny Price -- Mansfield Park?). I really loved it! As we were watching, I saw that it showed a link to a "Bachelors of Highbury" quiz -- and thought, wow that's silly. But I wondered... wouldn't it just link everyone to Mr. Knightley? After all, he's the hero, and there really isn't anyone else desirable, right? I mean, WHO IN THE WORLD would be linked to Mr. Elton??? Okay, okay, so Frank Churchill isn't too bad, either, and I completely forgot about Mr. Martin, but still... I really thought there would only be one result. So I took it, just to prove myself right. I proved myself wrong, because this is who I ended up with:

It's amazing the stuff you find out on the Web, huh? I have to agree with you that the BBC versions of Jane Austen stuff are really the best. I'll have to see this one after seeing the Gwyneth Paltrow version.
We watched the first half last night. I LOVE Knightly in this one.
I hope your honey gets home soon! I agree with the BBC thoughts--good stuff!
That's great. I'll have to see this version.
Sweet! Tell your Mr. Martin that his help was much appreciated today with my move! Hooray for good brothers! (both of whom have become better people after marriage to wonderful sisters-in-law, I have to say!)
Thanks honey! No pressure for me now... ;-) I LOVE YOU to infinity, and beyond!!!!
