Parker's Self-Esteem

Tonight, we were watching the latest episode of "The Biggest Loser" (yay DVR!) and one of the contestants was talking with her dad about how she was feeling like a beautiful person for the first time in a really long time. I told Joel that's exactly what he wanted more than anything, because her dad is just that kind of a dad. Parker was watching with us (with several expressions of "Oh, dear, that was a naughty word. We don't say those words, do we, Parker" on my part) and he asked why that's what her dad wanted, and I told him that it's because all parents want their kids to feel cool, because we think they're the coolest. Parker thought about that for a minute, then said I think I'm as cool as Star Wars. I think so, too, buddy.
