Good Grief! OR, Should Have Posted This Weeks Ago

Parker is in Kindergarten! Here are some pictures of his Very First Day of school at Westside Elementary. He was super-excited, especially because he already knows his teacher AND one of his classmates, our good friend Clark Allen. Unfortunately, his backpack didn't quite arrive for the first round of pictures, so we had to get a second set that afternoon.

"Hey, Parker -- how do you feel about going to school?"

Parker outside the school

This is just outside his classroom:

And this is his teacher, Mrs. Carpenter (aka Sister Carpenter on Sundays -- she's the Primary President, too!):

"Parker, what did you learn at school today?"

But this is how I'll always think of him, heading over to Clark's house for his carpool...

How does it feel to have a kid old enough to be in elementary school??? Didn't we just see Parker as a newborn babe at the hospital? What on EARTH is going on here, people??

I'm proud of that kid, anyhow! And proud of his parents, too! Way to go, Parker!

You can put the picture of him walking to Clark's house next to a picture of him in his graduation garb driving to Clark's house in about 13 years...

Well, if anyone ever had an important look on, it was Parker going to school. What a brave little guy!
