What two-year-old knows the meaning and usage of "I forgot"? Oh, yeah... one whose Mama forgets... A LOT. Sigh.
The other day, we were at the hospital (getting that super-yucky glucose test -- do they HAVE to carbonate the orange drink??), and since we had to wait around for about an hour, I made sure we packed some toys for Paige. I grabbed two cute little dinosaurs we have, and she grabbed Elephant. Surprisingly, she was entertained for almost 40 minutes by a couple of magazines (Parents, which has some really cute Halloween decor ideas, and Good Housekeeping -- maybe I'm raising a crafty kind of girl?), but then she started exploring. My Paige is just like my Parker in that respect -- they're both button-pushers and explorers and figure-outers. So, she got Elephant and was off on an Adventure. She got about 20 feet away and then gasped (I also am guilty of teaching that one to my kids -- sorry, kids! It still freaks Joel out, especially when I remember something while he's driving.) and said, "Oh, no! I thowgot!" and ran over to where I was sitting. She put down Elephant so she could get the two dinosaurs, then headed off again. About the same place, she did it again, "Oh, no! I thowgot!" and ran back for Elephant... but put down the dinosaurs to give him a little squeeze. This continued about five times!! It was so, so funny and cute, I had to laugh out loud! Paige really is a cutie right now.

That gasp startles me, too! hehe! I love Paige... she's SO adorable! I'm starting to understand about half of what she says... :-D
Well, I should lecture you about being more strict with that kid, but I thowgot I was wrapped around her little finger. Cuteness conquers all!
The "Paige has me wrapped around her little finger" list is growing! Her Dad, Grandpa Smith, Uncle Kevin, not to mention all the rest of us! What a cutie!
I love that she's starting to talk and imitate our little quirks. They're so cute at that age!
What? Paige does not have me wrapped around her little finger! I'm insulted. It's more like I'm wrapped around both her little fingers... :-)
She's certainly adorable!
