So, this week we've had some really sweet prayers:
Paige: "Thank thee for Mama's lap. [pat, pat]" (note: It's a good thing I was there, because I may have been the only one to understand this one!)
Stewart: "Thank thee that Parker is nice to me. And Mama and Daddy and Paige."
Parker: "Please bless Stewart's froggy throat, and that Daddy will get over his cold soon." (note: Stewart's throat was froggy not because he had a cold, but because he'd been crying that night. And Joel's cold is almost over! The very next day after this prayer, he told me it was the first day he hadn't had a sinus headache at night.)

Now THOSE are some awesome prayers! I laughed out loud at Paige's prayer... especially the *pat pat* Heehee!
How sweet! When I grab Mia's hands to pray before a meal, she automatically clasps them for a few seconds. It's so thrilling! But to have a child say such a sweet prayer--that must be GOLD! That makes it worth being a mommy for sure!
What an ingrate I am! I never thanked Heavenly Father for my mother's lap. Then again, we never prayed in my family. Anyway, the prayers of children are sweet indeed! (By the way, could Parker pray for me to get over being old?)
Hey, I'd like to add a list of things for Parker to pray for too, although I'm afraid the only remedy for getting old is leaving this earth, so let's not go there! Thanks for the reminder of the faith of little ones!
So that's why I got better so quickly! Yay for children's faith!
Out of the mouths of babes...
