We interrupt this blog...

Yes, due to the obsessive Olympics-watching that's been happening at our house, I have hardly been online. In fact, I've barely even checked my e-mail -- which happens to have 257 NEW, yikes (I never recovered after I had Kimball -- someday maybe I'll take pride in an empty inbox, but maybe I'll just cheat and get a new address...) So, I'll leave you with one funny/creepy story. Poor Stewart has a really great imagination, as evidenced by his great adventures with Pink & Hobbie... the downside to this is that he sometimes imagines things in the middle of the night. Well, the other day he said, "Mama, there was someone else in my room last night." I didn't think anything of it, so I said, "Oh, honey, I think that might have been a dream." "No, Mama," he said. "There was someone in my room with me. I know because they moved a paper and then they were touching my head." At first, I thought that was funny, but I'm thinking he'll become either the next M. Night Shyamalan or the next Stephen King. And if you think about what he said long enough, you, too, will realize just how creepy that would be. Sweet dreams, everyone! And I do mean everyone.

p.s. Of course we reassured him that we check his room every night & make sure there are no people (or monsters) in it! What kind of parents do you think we are?!

The good kind with imaginative little kids, of course! Joel used to dream stuff he thought was real. Runs in the family, I guess.

You're great parents! I agree with Dad, great imaginations in this family!

Wow, he's really got stories to tell. I hope he doesn't have too vivid of dreams from now on.

Though monsters do have a direct line to the closet door... as seen in the documentary "Monsters, Inc." So you can never be too careful. Um. It WAS a documentary, right? ;-)
