Ambidextrous

Kate is an equal-opportunity thumb-sucker. She likes both about the same, although she probably favors the left one when she's awake and the right one when she's asleep. Paige sucked her left thumb, Stewart and Kimball right -- and I'm hoping Kate will turn out to be a righty, because it's easier for me to snuggle her that way. Unlike Kate, I am NOT ambidextrous when it comes to baby-holding -- I only hold them on my left hip when they're big enough to hang on, and only snuggle them on my lap on the right side. That being said, I can hold a baby in either hand when they're facing out. So, I hope she's a righty. Only time will tell!
