I bathe. I have a lot of friends who don't -- they just like to shower better. Me, I like a good, long soak. It's quiet enough for me to hear if a baby is crying, but it's also a GREAT excuse to do a little reading. Mostly, I don't get much more than a couple of pages read because that's the window of time I have before Kate wakes up, but on Sundays... ahhh... on Sundays Joel lets me take a nice, long soak, and he takes great care of the kids. It's usually the only time of the week that I'm not listening for kids. And since I try to read scriptures or church-related material on Sundays, I usually end up one-on-one with the scriptures.
Today I took a bath, but I had a little less time than usual. I really wanted to have a little piece of spirituality, so I took the General Conference edition of the Ensign with me. I LOVE Conference! And I felt like my Conference attention span was fairly short this time, so I am trying to read all the talks before next April. So, this morning I read a talk by Elder Clayton (I think it was the third talk of the Saturday morning session) -- a great talk all about the gospel and how it is filling the world. You probably remember that it was the one where, as a missionary, he wanted to go into the Governmental Palace in Lima, Peru, but never thought he would, and this last year he was a visitor because of his calling. So, a great talk overall, but nothing new, nothing life-changing. I looked at the time, and it was a quarter to ten -- and Joel still had to shower and shave before church. I really needed to get a move on, if we were going to be to church on time. But I really wanted that little piece of spirituality. I decided to just look at the title of the next talk, and if it was a REALLY good one, maybe I'd read just a section of it... I could wait 5 more minutes, right? And I turned the page to this: "Doing the Right Thing, at the Right Time, without Delay" by Elder Alonso. And, while I'm sure it was a great talk, I decided that was a clear enough signal for me to get going and get out of the bath. I think Elder Alonso would approve.
The moral of this story? Heavenly Father loves us and gives us revelation individually... and has a great sense of humor.

It sounds like you have a nice bath at least once a week with great reading material. Good thing you listened to Elder Alonso!
Sounds like you've gotten about as far as I have in the Ensign this month. I hereby pledge to finish it before the next conference. Hooray for conference!
I just had a flashback to soaking in the tub, reading the New Testament, in the south Provo apartment, our first abode in Utah. We must be on the same wave length--soaking both physically and spiritually!
I love it! I need to get a move on in reading the latest Conference edition.
