What 18-month-old knows where to find a "C" and a "B" on the keyboard? Yep, Kate. This morning we were playing with an old keyboard (not attached to a computer), and she looked down and said,
"MOOM".
Moon. Why yes, Kate, that "C" really does look like a moon! The moon is Kate's FAVORITE. She can find it in the night sky, in picture books, and, apparently, on the keyboard. I think her next shape is going to be a star -- she loves "Twinkle, twinkle!"
Then I showed her the B, because it's a split keyboard and it was easy to find. To which she said,
"BZZZZZ. Ting!"
Buzz, sting. Amazing, right? Well, the really amazing part to me is that she can still consistently find the "moom" and the "b" on the keyboard!

Of course Kate is a genius! She'll be typing stories about the moon in no time!
That kid makes me laugh every time I see her. As you know, the "Moom" at night is big and bright - and so is Kate.
Adorable--I first thought "piano keyboard"--I guess that's because I'm old and there is a C and a B there too.
